CT Medicaid in the News

Capture.PNGLast week, CT’s Medicaid was highlighted in a Wall Street Journal article.  Connecticut is one of a few states that does not contract out management of the HUSKY (Medicaid) program.

Contracts with private insurers were terminated in 2012, and the state has taken over since then, with cost-saving results.  Read more in the article: Connecticut Moves Away From Private Insurers to Administer Medicaid Program (WSJ, March 18, 2016)
