A time for thanks

As the holidays kick off with a dual celebration of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah this week one of the things we are thankful for here at Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut is that our state appears to have gotten off to a good start with the launch of Access Health CT.

The Connecticut marketplace has reported an outreach program with 231 certified in-person assistors and 67 certified application counselors – and that they are training more. One of those who has completed the training as an assistor is a long-time friend of the Foundation , Michele Mudrick with the Christian Activities Council. Last week some of the work Michele has done was highlighted on NBC Connecticut.

We wish all of our friends a wonderful start to the holiday season and so that our staff can enjoy their own families our offices will close Wednesday at 1 p.m. and will reopen on Monday at 8:30 a.m.
